Medieval started off as my favorite but regency has taken over. Due to regency being published more or did I need a change? Not sure but I always find myself re-reading these :)

The COYER Scavenger Hunt will run Saturday, June 20th – Friday, September 4th. Sign-ups are now open through Saturday August 8th.
I’ve done COYER before and it is was fun and since I’m reading from my print and ebooks I already own, I figure COYER will be a fun way to keep me on that track during the summer.
King Henry II's reputation of being 'the Spawn of the Devil' didn't help him solve his problems with his two feuding nobles: Lady Helen Tiernay, 'the Tyrant or Tiernay', and Lord Hethe Holden, 'the Hammer of Holden'. So he decided to force the two to marry. They could share the bed they had made and leave him alone!
Lord Hethe Holden is never home. He's always away fighting for his king. Even though his father is dead, he doesn't want to go back home because it brings him too many painful memories of his father's treatment. He returns home to marry, he can't go against the king's wishes, and he's very surprised when he meets his intended bride.
Lady Helen Tiernay would do anything to prevent that wedding, she doesn't like how Lord Holden treats people, but she can't defy the king so she decides 'the Hammer' should be the one refusing to marry her.
What she does to prevent that wedding had me laughing so hard I cried. She even trains Goliath, her faithful huge wolfhound to... No, I won't tell you. Read it. It's worth it. I love Lynsay Sands's books, and 'Bliss' isn't an exception. It's well written and very funny.

A sweet, hot Christmas book.
There are four stories:
- "The Proper Lover" by Eileen Wilks
Set in Regency England. Emily, a young lady plans to lose her innocence to James, a charming rogue, so that she doesn't have to marry against her will, but she doesn't expect a night of passion to so thoroughly connect their souls...
- "Santa Wears Spurs" by Kinley MacGregor
Set in the Old West. An outlaw returns to the woman he loved and left behind because he wanted to protect her from his own brother, and finds the best christmas surprise of his life...
- "Christmas Bonus" by Lori Foster
(My favourite!!!) Erin Bragg had been in love with Maggie Carmichael for years. He had been waiting for her to grow up before making a move, but she was his boss now and if he asked her to marry him some might assume he was only doing it to get the company.
- "A Night with Emily" by Dee Holmes
Johnny and Emily were forced to spend Christmas together and they found out that their old flames still burn white-hot...

A well written time travel romance full of fun and adventure. Sweet.
Scotland, 1311. James MacLeod was the most respected, and feared, laird in all of Scotland. He allowed no women to cross the threshold of his keep.
New York City, 1996. Elizabeth Smith longed for the man of her dreams. She could even hear his voice calling her when she was awake. She went for a walk to clear her mind and dozen off on a bench in a park, when she woke up she was in a forest surrounding the castle of James MacLeod, an arrogant and handsome lord with a very familiar voice.
James resisted her as much as he could, but Elizabeth went straight to his heart just as easily as she took over his keep. Soon he discovered feelings he didn't know he had, and found himself doing things he never thought he would do for a woman.

Very funny time travel romance.
Magnus Ericsson, the third brother from "The Last Viking" and "Truly, Madly Viking", was a crude man, a farmer and a father of thirteen children he had had with several wives, mistresses and "passing fancies". Definitely not hero material!
But when he time travelled to the kingdom of "Holly Wood" with nine of his children, he really became Angela's hero.
This is a humorous and sensual tale. The wordplay between the characters is well written and it makes you laugh out loud.
(I read this book in 2003 and wrote this review then.)
A nice dream.
If you loved "Bewitching", you'll love "Dreaming".
Letitia Olive Hornsby, a curly-haired, blue-eyed hellion thinks that Richard, the dashing, handsome, and totally disreputable son of the Earl of Downe, is the white knight of her dreams.
Letitia's courtship of Richard is full of accidents, and he soon has the bruises to prove it.
When a ring of dangerous smugglers makes them prisoners, Richard falls in love with his insufferable, although unforgettable, cellmate.
Great supporting cast.
Warning: Do not read in public, you'll laugh out loud.

A sweet fairy tale.
Joyous Fiona MacQuarrie was a beautiful, Scottish witch with lovely green eyes. A witch who couldn't control her magic no matter how hard she tried, to the despair of her aunt, the MacLean, one of the best witches of all time.
It was one of her spells that went wrong what made her fall into the arms of the handsome Alec, Duke of Belmore. They got married and she turned Belmore Park upside down with merriment and strange occurrences, but soon the fire turned into ice when the proud nobleman discovered that his wife was a witch.
It's a great book that will make you smile, laugh out loud and cry. The supporting cast is great.
Don't miss "Dreaming", next in the series.
(I read this book in 2003 and wrote this review then.)
Very sweet.
Second in the series: "Wonderful", "Wild", "Wicked".
Shunned by superstitious villagers, Teleri has lived hidden away in a dark forest. When she finds a gravely wounded knight, her sanctuary is no longer safe.
A legendary knight, Roger FitzAlan, must now win the trust and love of the wild young woman he has fallen in love with and find who tried to kill him.
Together they will have to fight for their love and their lives.

A keeper.
First book in the series: "Wonderful", "Wild" and "Wicked".
When Lady Clio of Camrose got betrothed to a legendary English knight she had never met, she believed that love was something magical. But after waiting for her intended in a convent for six long years, without hearing a work from her knight, her feelings weren't the same.
Merrick de Beaucourt was weary of war and was looking forward to a simple life of peace and quiet with a docile wife at his side, but he finds little peace guarding the wild Welsh borders, and even less with his wife whose trust he destroyed.
Merrick and Clio will battle together and discover a rare and wonderful love.
